PersephonePosted by Jennifer (Charleston, United States) on 15 April 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. This was taken on Infrared film with my Nikon N8008s and, of course, 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 D. It's a statue of Persephone that sits in the courtyard of the Gibbes Museum in Charleston, SC. In reality the leaves behind her were a dark green, but foliage (among other things) takes on a surreal whiteness on IR. To learn more about Infrared photography check out Michael Fulks' page.
