@Dave: thanks. he's been in my yard for a while. finally took the time to get a pic. i didn't have much choice in the dof, it was a bit breezy so the web moved constantly, had to use the fastest shutter i could... still took about 20 shots.

fyi - the link to your blogspot page isn't working. when you click on your name it takes to you a "page not found" message.
